Here's how booths usually work at business events, and what to sort out before the day.
Branding the booth
Nearly everything can usually carry your branding: the start screen, the print template, the overlay on shared photos and often the backdrop. Some partners can wrap the booth itself.
Send logos and brand colours early. Printed backdrops and booth wraps can take a couple of weeks to produce, and they usually add to the cost.
Data capture, done properly
Many digital booths can ask guests a question or two before they get their photo, such as an email address and a tick box for marketing. At a launch or an exhibition, that turns the booth into a lead generator as well as a bit of fun.
Keep the questions short or people will skip them. And get your consent wording right for UK GDPR. The partner sets up the screen, but your company is responsible for how the data's used afterwards, so run it past whoever looks after data protection.
Choosing a booth for stands and launches
For a stand or a launch, where the goal is reach, digital usually wins. People share the files and your branding goes with them. For a staff party or an awards night, prints tend to go down better, because people like something to take home. Some events do both.
Footfall matters too. If hundreds of people will pass in an afternoon, you want something quick, like a GIF booth or an open setup, rather than a curtained booth where one group can happily take five minutes.
On a busy stand, a booth gives people a reason to stop. A GIF or selfie booth works well here, because visitors get their branded photo on their phone straight away and walk off with your logo.
Check the hall's rules early. Most want your supplier's insurance and electrical certificates before build day, and power to the stand often has to be ordered separately from the venue.
Awards nights and gala dinners
At an awards do, everyone's dressed up and wants a good photo. A magic mirror or an open booth with a smart backdrop suits the mood, and winners tend to head straight over with their trophy.
Open it after the ceremony. Before, people are sat at their tables. After, they've got something to celebrate.
Corporate photo booth hire for Christmas parties
December is the busiest month of the year for booths, and Friday nights go quickly. If you know your date, enquire early. Prices usually run higher in December too.
A booth is great for getting different departments mixing. Put it near the bar, not tucked away in a side room where only the marketing team finds it.
For a festive look, ask about Christmas props and a seasonal template. In December, there's rarely a shortage of Santa hats.
Paperwork and timings
If you need us to fill in a supplier form or get set up on a purchase order system, just say. It's a normal part of booking for lots of companies.
Fine Entertainments Ltd is a UK limited company, so you'll get a proper quote and invoice. Tell us about load-in times, access, security passes and any venue paperwork in your enquiry and we'll pass it straight on to the partner. Then request a quote.
