We're Fine Entertainments Ltd, from Corby in Northamptonshire, and we find booths through trusted partners across the South West. Send one form and a person comes back to you, usually the same day.
Unusual spaces, practical questions
Brunel's SS Great Britain on the Harbourside hires out spaces above and below deck for weddings, dinners and corporate events. On a ship, ask about door widths, steps and where the nearest socket is before anything else.
Aerospace Bristol, up at Patchway near Filton, uses its Concorde Gallery for dinners, Christmas parties and weddings. There's room under that wing for an open-air booth, and the aircraft makes a backdrop no printed one can beat.
Museums and historic sites are often strict about what can touch the floor or walls, so expect the venue to ask questions. Tape, confetti and glitter props are often off the list.
Marquees and country houses
Leigh Court, the Palladian mansion at Abbots Leigh, hosts weddings and can put a marquee on the grounds for bigger numbers. Marquees are where power gets interesting.
A booth usually needs one standard socket. In a marquee that often means a generator or a supply run from the house, so check with your marquee company that there's a spare outlet where the booth will stand. Keep it away from the doorway on a wet night.
Grass is rarely flat, either. A level spot on the hard flooring near the dance floor saves the attendant a headache.
The Clean Air Zone and getting into town
Bristol's Clean Air Zone covers the city centre, and older cars and vans that don't meet the emissions standards pay a daily charge to drive in. Most suppliers' vans are compliant, but it's factored into travel either way. Out at Leigh Court or elsewhere in North Somerset, the zone doesn't apply at all.
Parking near the Harbourside gets tight on summer weekends, so suppliers often turn up early to unload. Tell us if your venue has a loading area.
Photo booth hire Bristol: which booth suits which venue
For a ship or a museum hangar, an open booth or a mirror suits the setting better than a closed box, since the surroundings are the point. Take a look at open-air photo booth hire for what's usually included.
For a marquee wedding, a print booth with a guest book is hard to beat. Our wedding photo booth hire page runs through the options, so have a read and then send us your date.
A booth that suits a ship might look odd in a marquee in Thornbury, and that's fine. Tell us the venue and we'll narrow it down for you.
