UK Photo Booth Hire is run by Fine Entertainments Ltd in Corby, and we find booths from trusted partners for weddings, birthdays and work dos across Brighton and Hove. Tell us the venue and the hours, and a real person comes back, usually the same day, with what's free and a price.
Getting a booth into a Brighton venue
Load-in is the bit people forget. A lot of central Brighton is permit or pay parking, and plenty of older buildings around the Lanes and Kemptown have steps at the front and a lift that's smaller than you'd hope. Ask the venue where a van can stop to unload, and pass that on to us.
Big seafront hotels are usually easier. The DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole on Kings Road has large function suites, and its Oxford Suite has street-level loading, which keeps a booth crew very happy. Smaller boutique spaces need a quick chat about room size first.
Most booths want a level spot with room for a queue and a plug socket close by. Venues here often ask suppliers for public liability insurance and PAT certificates, so we'll sort that paperwork with the partner.
Seafront wind and open-air setups
An open-air booth looks great on a terrace with the sea behind it. But the wind off the Channel doesn't care about your backdrop. Light backdrops flap, props blow away and a gust can rock a stand.
So for anything outdoors near the front, find a sheltered corner or keep the booth just inside the doors. An enclosed booth is the safer bet if the party spills onto a balcony, as the walls do the work for you. Rain's the other reason. It's Brighton.
Photo booth hire Brighton couples book for evening receptions
The Royal Pavilion is one of the city's best-known wedding settings, and its Banqueting Room and Music Room are hired for evening events. A booth there tends to come in after the meal, when people want something to do between speeches and dancing.
Hotel du Vin Brighton, just back from the seafront, offers exclusive use of the whole hotel for weddings, which suits a relaxed booth in a lounge or bar area. In a smaller room a magic mirror works well, since it's slim and stands against a wall.
Heritage buildings often have rules about what can touch walls and floors, and some keep a preferred-supplier list. Ask early and you'll avoid a lot of back and forth.
Brighton and Hove dates go fast
Summer Saturdays disappear quickly here, and so does December, when hotels along the front fill up with office parties. If your date is fixed, start asking about booths a good few months ahead.
Send the venue name, guest numbers and when you'd like the booth running, and mention whether there's step-free access from the street. That one detail saves the crew a headache on the day.
