Both work brilliantly with a booth. We're Fine Entertainments Ltd from Corby, and we'll find a partner booth that's free on your date, with a reply from an actual person, usually the same day.
City weddings by the station
The Queens on City Square sits right next to Leeds station, with Art Deco interiors and a ballroom licensed for ceremonies. It's handy for guests coming in by train, and a booth tucks in at the edge of a ballroom without eating into the dance floor.
Down at Leeds Dock, the Royal Armouries Museum hosts weddings as well, including large Asian weddings in New Dock Hall. A big guest list means a long queue, so think about an attendant who keeps things moving, or even two booths.
City venues often give suppliers a set arrival time, so let us know if yours has one.
Country house receptions
Oulton Hall, south-east of the city, is set in around 300 acres and holds wedding fayres through the year. At a place that size, ask where the evening do actually happens. The booth wants to be in that room, not three corridors away.
Old halls can have uneven floors, narrow doorways and sockets in all the wrong places. A booth usually runs off one standard plug, but tell the venue coordinator what's coming so they can point the attendant to the right spot.
Country houses also tend to have preferred-supplier lists. If yours does and no booth is on it, ask whether an outside supplier can come in with the right insurance and PAT certificates.
Timing your photo booth hire Leeds slot
Most couples open the booth just after the first dance and keep it going until near the end. Running it during the wedding breakfast wastes paid hours, as nobody's leaving their table.
Three hours usually covers an evening. If there's a long gap between the ceremony and the meal, some couples book an earlier session for the drinks reception too. Kids love it at that point.
Keepsakes for the morning after
A guest book option is worth a look. Guests stick a copy of their strip in an album and scribble a message beside it, and you end up with something far more fun to flick through than a normal signing book. Some couples add an audio guest book for voice messages as well.
Ask about a custom print template with your names and the date. Our wedding photo booth page covers the extras couples tend to go for. Props are half the fun, though it's worth asking guests to leave the feather boas by the booth rather than taking them home.
