Photo booth hire questions

We're run by Fine Entertainments Ltd, an entertainment agency based in Corby, Northamptonshire. We book photo booths for events across the UK through trusted partners, so you deal with us and we handle the rest.

Send us your details through the quote form. We check which booths are free on your date and reply with options and prices. If you like one, we confirm it. Nothing is booked until you say yes.

Usually the same day. A real person reads every enquiry, so on very busy days it might take a little longer, but we won't leave you hanging.

A standard enclosed or open air booth with prints, props and an attendant typically costs £300 to £600 for around three hours. Every quote depends on date, hours, booth type, location and extras. The price guide has the detail.

For summer Saturdays and December, book as early as you can, often many months ahead. For midweek dates and quieter months, a few weeks' notice can be enough. It's always worth asking.

Enclosed curtain booths, open air booths, magic mirrors, 360 video booths, and GIF or selfie booths that share straight to phones. We can often add an audio guest book too.

Most standard booths and mirrors need about 2.5 to 3 metres square. A 360 booth needs more, roughly 3.5 to 4 metres square, plus a decent ceiling height. A slim selfie booth can manage with less.

One standard 13 amp plug socket close to where the booth stands is normally enough. If the nearest socket is a long way off, let us know so the partner can bring the right cables.

Usually about an hour, sometimes less for a selfie booth and a bit more for a 360 or a big backdrop. The team arrives before your guests so it's ready to go on time.

Most bookings come with an attendant who helps guests, sorts the props and keeps the prints flowing. It isn't standard on every booking, so your quote will say whether one's included.

With most print booths, yes, during the hire time. A few have limits, and we'll tell you if that applies to the one you choose.

Normally you'll get an online gallery or download link with every shot. Some booths also send photos to guests' phones on the night.

Yes, usually. The print template can carry names, a date, a logo or an event title. The partner normally sends a proof to approve before the day.

Usually, yes. Most booths come with a box of hats, glasses, boas and signs. If you'd like a theme or there's something you'd rather leave out, tell us when you enquire.

Some venues ask for public liability insurance and PAT certificates, and a few only allow suppliers from their own list. Check with them early and tell us, and we'll make sure the booth we offer meets their requirements.

It can, as long as it's under cover, on firm level ground and near power. Rain and direct sun are bad news for the kit, so a marquee, gazebo or porch is best.
