We're Fine Entertainments Ltd from Corby, Northamptonshire, and we book booths through trusted partners across the North West. One form, and someone real gets back to you, usually the same day, with what's available and a price.
Christmas party season in the city
December books up fast. If your party is on a Friday in the middle of the month, start looking in the autumn, because the good booths go early and Saturdays go even quicker.
The Albert Hall on Peter Street takes Christmas party bookings in its main hall, a converted Wesleyan chapel with stained glass and vaulted ceilings. A room like that already looks great on camera, so a simple backdrop and decent lighting usually do the job.
One tip: put the booth where its queue won't block the bar. At a work do, those two lines merge very quickly and nobody's happy.
Photo booth hire Manchester for conferences and launches
Manchester Central hosts conferences and trade shows all year, from medical congresses to housing and healthcare events. On a stand, a booth with your logo on every print gives people a reason to stop walking and talk to your team.
Digital-only setups are popular here. Guests scan a QR code, get the photo on their phone and share it there and then, with no paper to carry around the hall. Our corporate photo booth page has more on branding options.
Ask the organiser about stand power early. Exhibition halls often charge separately for a socket on your stand, and that's easy to miss until the week before.
Weddings and 40ths too
It isn't all lanyards. The Albert Hall is licensed for weddings with exclusive use of the building, and Manchester's mills, hotels and function rooms see plenty of 30ths and 40ths every weekend.
For a party, a magic mirror tends to go down a storm. It's usually a full-length mirror with on-screen prompts and animations, and once the dancing starts people queue for it.
For a reception in an old mill, check the lift. Some converted buildings have a goods lift that takes a booth easily, while others only have stairs.
Venue rules worth checking early
City-centre venues often want PLI and PAT certificates on file a week or two before the event, and a few keep a preferred-supplier list for entertainment. Check your contract, or ask the events team before you get your heart set on a particular booth.
Traffic around Deansgate and St Peter's Square can be slow at rush hour, so suppliers often aim to arrive mid-afternoon for an evening do. If the venue has a loading bay or a car park round the back, tell us when you enquire and we'll pass it on.
