We're Fine Entertainments Ltd, an agency in Corby, and we book booths from trusted partners across the West Midlands. Tell us about the event and we'll come back with what's free, normally the same day.
Enclosed or open-air?
An enclosed booth is the classic: a curtain, a bench and a bit of privacy, which is exactly why people get sillier inside one. Four or five fit at a push.
Open-air booths drop the walls and use a backdrop instead. Bigger groups squeeze in, and they suit a grand room where you don't want a box blocking the view. Think of a function suite with tall windows and a nice ceiling.
Bear in mind that an enclosed booth hides people from the room. Great for a shy crowd, less fun if you want the whole party watching the chaos.
Mirrors, 360s and GIFs
A magic mirror is usually a tall touchscreen mirror with animated prompts, and it's a favourite at weddings and milestone birthdays. A 360 booth uses a spinning arm around a low platform to film slow-motion clips. Brilliant with a dance-floor crowd, but it needs more floor space and room for a queue.
GIF and boomerang booths skip printing altogether and send short clips straight to phones. Handy if your lot live on Instagram, and going digital-only can bring the price down too. Our 360 photo booth hire page goes into space and setup in more detail.
Photo booth hire Birmingham venues inside the Clean Air Zone
Birmingham's Clean Air Zone covers the roads inside the A4540 Middleway ring road, and older, non-compliant vehicles pay a daily charge to drive in. That takes in the city-centre venues around Broad Street and Centenary Square, including the ICC, which hosts conferences and big awards evenings throughout the year.
Suppliers allow for the zone in their travel. Give us the full venue address and we'll handle the rest. If your event is out in Solihull or Sutton Coldfield, none of that applies, and parking's usually easier too.
A garden setting in Edgbaston
Not everything happens in a convention centre. Birmingham Botanical Gardens has three function rooms set in 15 acres, all licensed for ceremonies, and in the warmer months the drinks reception can move outside overlooking the gardens.
At a venue like that, how the booth looks matters as much as what it does. A tidy open-air setup or a mirror in a smart frame can sit at the side of the room without clashing with the greenery. Keep it indoors and close to a socket, though, because prints and drizzle don't mix. It's a big site, so ask the events team where suppliers should unload.
