This site is a booking service from Fine Entertainments Ltd. We don't own booths. We find a trusted partner who's free on your date, send a price, and leave the decision with you.
Booths for 18ths, 21sts and the big round numbers
Younger crowds tend to love digital booths. Pictures land on their phones in seconds and go straight onto their stories, and a GIF booth is a hit for the same reason. No printed strips left lying around the hall at the end, either.
For a 40th, 50th or 60th, prints usually win. Guests like taking a strip home, and the host often ends up with a book full of messages and silly faces. There are more ideas on our party photo booth page.
Props are half the fun, but keep them sensible if there are kids about. Partners usually bring a box, and you can ask about a theme.
Party venues around Reading
In town, The Roseate Reading on The Forbury (it used to be the Forbury Hotel) has smaller private rooms such as Eden, which seats about 40. A room that size suits a compact open booth rather than a big enclosed one.
For bigger celebrations, De Vere Wokefield Estate near Mortimer has two hotels on one estate. The Wokefield Suite takes up to 400 for a ceremony, and the Terrace Suite overlooks the lake, so there's space for a booth that stays out of the way of the dance floor.
Wherever you are, ask the events team how suppliers get in and where a van can park while the booth goes in. Five minutes on the phone now saves a scramble on the day.
Home parties and garden marquees
Lots of birthdays happen at home, in a garden marquee or a hired village hall. That's fine, but a booth needs a flat, dry spot and a plug socket close by. Extension leads trailing across a wet lawn aren't anyone's idea of fun.
Measure the space and check the doors. An open-air booth is often the easiest fit for a marquee, as it packs down small and doesn't need much height. And give the neighbours a heads-up, because flashing lights and squealing at midnight can carry.
Photo booth hire Reading bookings, from Wokingham to the Thames Valley
Partners cover the whole area, from Henley and Maidenhead across to Newbury and Bracknell. Summer Saturday nights go first, so the earlier you ask, the more choice you'll have. Weddings at Wokefield and work parties in town go through the same form.
Send the birthday date, the venue or postcode and roughly how many are coming through our quote form. We'll check who's free that night in Berkshire and tell you what's included before you decide anything.
