UK Photo Booth Hire is run by Fine Entertainments Ltd in Corby, not far from Peterborough at all. We book booths from trusted partners for weddings across the city and the villages round it, and reply with what's free and a price, usually the same day.
When to run the booth on your wedding day
Most couples open the booth after the wedding breakfast, while the room's being turned round or the evening guests are arriving. That's when people are milling about with a drink and nothing much to do.
Keep it going through the first dance and into the evening, and you'll catch both the day guests and the later crowd. Two or three hours is common. Opening during the drinks reception can work too, but it competes with your photographer for attention.
Speeches are the one time to close it. Nobody wants rattling props over the best man.
Prints, guest books and voice messages
Print booths give guests a strip or photo to take home, and many partners can add a guest book where people stick in a copy and write a note. Have a read of our wedding photo booth hire page before you decide.
Some couples add an audio guest book alongside, an old-style phone guests leave voice messages on. Great for older relatives who'd happily skip the booth.
Many partners can do double prints, so one copy goes in the guest book and the guest keeps the other. Worth asking for if you want a record of everyone who came.
Photo booth hire Peterborough venues to think about
Haycock Manor Hotel in Wansford is an old coaching inn just off the A1, with a ballroom for receptions. A booth sits well at the edge of a ballroom, near the bar but clear of the dance floor.
Orton Hall Hotel and Spa, in parkland on the south-west side of the city, hosts weddings in its historic rooms. Old buildings can mean narrow corridors and steps, so the crew may need a carry route agreed with the venue. Ask where suppliers park and unload, too. The nearest door to the car park isn't always the one closest to your reception room.
Bigger parties and work events sometimes head to the East of England Arena, which has large suites and parking on site.
Pinning down your date
Send your date, venue and preferred hours through the quote form. We'll check which booths are free that day and come back with a few options.
Saturdays from May to September go quickest. Got a Friday or a winter wedding? You'll often have more choice of booth.
Tell us roughly how many evening guests you're expecting as well. A booth for 80 people runs differently from one for 200, and the partner may suggest an attendant or a longer hire for the bigger number.
